Michael Myers

Practicing architecture in all aspects for over 35 years, Michael has created works of lasting durability that have been used and appreciated by owners daily for well over a quarter of a century.  His interests range from design to construction documentation and he has developed a particular expertise in BIM and the use of Autodesk Revit to design and document projects of all scales and aesthetic types.

An education in city planning and design mentoring under the eminent Harris N Forusz at the University of Cincinnati provides Michael with an exceptional base in problem-solving and programming;  Bringing this broad design education to bear on architecture means that Michael is constantly seeking the deeper problems in the projects he's involved with and he strives to redefine the assumptions that others might take for granted on many design assignments.

He is currently working on a publication, Models of Modernism, which showcases masterpieces of twentieth-century architecture through Revit Models.  He has also privately published a collection of photographs of Pleasant Hill Shaker Village of Kentucky titled Be Silent and Listen.

Michael's other interests include music composition, recording, producing and electronic sampling.  To view Michael's website of his own electronic computer realizations of classical music, including the piece recorded by Michael and presented on the Home page of this website, follow this link (a new window will open).

He lives in Walnut Creek, California with his lovely wife Gissella and bright and beautiful daughter Mireya.  His three adult sons are talented and intelligent young men: musicians, a history student and an art student.
